An Aviation Company Gains a National Presence
Challenge
North American Helicopter formerly operated as two separate companies: one that provided flight training, and another that offered operational services to power line, pipeline, the Department of Defense and the Army Corp of Engineers. They had an excellent reputation and safety record but were viewed as a regional provider by most clients, who didn’t know about the breadth of the services they could provide. NAH challenged us to help them compete with aviation companies on a national stage and introduce the plug-and-play aviation program they had developed to partner with universities who wanted to offer flight training as a companion to a degree program.
Solution
We repositioned the company to compete nationally by uniting all of these services under one name. We completely rebranded the company, developing a new website, creating branded sales kits for their operational and flight training services, and creating both written and visual content for social media.
Additionally, we developed two weight and balance apps that are currently live in the App Store. The apps are used by pilots to help calculate preflight conditions of specific training aircraft.
Results
With their new brand identity and digital properties, NAH more than doubled their business and increased revenue by 100%.
The increased brand awareness helped them partner with four universities, doubled their fleet and increase training to 100+ students each year.
